Copoka is a open-world exploratory indie game about a bird building its nest in a totalitarian city state.
In Copoka you play as a bird, flying freely above the totalitarian city-state of Copoka. Your goal is to find and collect twigs for your nest, and as the nest grows a story of intrigue and politics unfolds.
- Play as a bird and enjoy the freedom of flight
- Experience a city through a bird's perspective
- Elegant and simplistic gameplay, made for everyone
- Eavesdrop on conversations to get the whole story
- Enjoy a diverse musical score thematic to your surroundings
Copoka is a city in distress. Speakers all around the city announce that the Great Leader will bring the state its salvation, while people lament in the streets about starvation and dissatisfaction. Something is brewing in the back alleys of the slums. Whispers in the wind tell about a coming revolution, the culmination of the distraught amongst Copoka’s citizens.
The perks of being a bird is that one can undertake the role as a silent observer. By listening to different people a nuanced picture of the conflict brewing in the city is revealed; a conflict concerning clashing ideologies regardless of social standing or allegiance.
But what are human concerns to a bird anyway?
We are 18 swedish game developers from the city of Skövde. This game started out as a school project which we then took further. The first stop was July’s Humble Monthly. The next stop: Greenlight. We all love game development and we have had a really fun time creating Copoka.
We hope you vote for our game!
