A low-poly wobbly multplayer racing game

ForeveRacers is an online multiplayer racing game. There's no waiting for races to begin, players can join and play anytime. Race through the countryside day and night while trying to set the best lap time. Cut corners, find hidden shortcuts and avoid other players.

With a smoothed low-poly aesthetic, and top heavy physics, the game mixes bright arcade graphics with a fun yet challenging handling model. Rather than racing for position, players are trying to consistently prove themselves to be the fastest driver. This allows for drop in play, with no waiting around for races to finish, or lobbies to fill etc. Leaderboards are updating based on the fastest on the last lap, in the session, and on average over the last 3 laps. This means that unlike most other online racers, one bad corner or crash doesn't mean you're out of the race - just get back on your wheels and try to get to the top on the next lap.

However, with other racers on track who can crash and disrupt each other, you still have to watch out for them...but if you can get a slipstream, the speed boost might just help you set the best time.

A second opinion?

Play the demo
A 'demo' build is available for free from the website. Although from earlier in development, it gives a good idea of how the game will work and play. It can be played online with up to 10 players total, or an offline mode to practice on your own. There are two car models you can choose from, though currently it's only a cosmetic difference between them, and there's only one 'circuit' (though maybe you will find the incomplete roads that will lead to other areas!). It only features the main 'race' game mode.

Featuring
  • A choice of cars with different performance and custom colours.
  • Charming low poly racer with fun physics and casual drop in, drop out gameplay.
  • Local Split-screen for two players
  • Additonal Game Modes - Checkpoint Scramble, Cops 'n' Robbers, maybe more?
  • Minimum 10 players in online mode
  • Multiple Routes
  • Additonal Play Areas
  • Cars will suffer damage, lose body parts etc.
  • No waiting for online races to end or lobbies to fill up, just jump in and play!
The game is still in development, so additional features may be added, and some may change, but the items listed above are either completed, in progress or 'locked in' to the development plan.
