Mad Mage Tower is a 2D puzzle-platformer in an 8-bit gameboy-esque style, where you control a wizard who is climbing an ancient and mysterious tower in search of knowledge. Who knows what will he find on top?

In this game you will need to use both your skills and intelligence to advance in more than 150 challenging levels full of obstacles like cannon balls, lasers and spikes. But fear not, because along the way you will learn many spells that will enable you to fix broken switches, light candles, shrink, teleport yourself, and summon bizarre creatures. All of those acquired powers will be critical to help solve challenges and even fight bosses that will test your reasoning and reflex.

The game is under active development by a team of 4 people, all working in a very productive and efficient way. We are all very passionate about classic Gameboy games, and want to offer you the same retro puzzle-platformer experiences we loved in our pasts!

Currently we have at least 40% of what is planned for the total game content, and are eager to release an Early Access version soon. Mad Mage Tower is a game that was originally created in 48 hours during BaconGameJam10 by Diel Mormac (@dielmormac), ending up as the winner of the competition. After that, Diel sought partners in the game development community who would like to continue the development and turn it into a full product, being joined then by Rubens Stephan (@ruhstephan), Guilherme Abel (@guiabel) and Mauricio (Malegra) Alegretti (@malegretti).
