Backyard Quidditch is a parody of the Backyard Sports series based around the niche sport of muggle quidditch, and takes inspiration from the series' dated graphics and point-and-click gameplay. Choose your team from a roster of over 80 real-life quidditch players, design your strategy, and beat every team in your way to get to your goal of winning The Quidditch World Cup.

Graphics and AI are still in beta and being tinkered with and improved every day, though the game is very much in playable form. Trying to get online multiplayer set up, but will depend on how much attention/funding the game gets.

To anyone with legal concerns, I hope this might ease your minds:

1. Parody is protected under US Law. http://www.copyright.gov/fair-use/

2. The trademark for the word "Quidditch" is dead when it comes to digital computer/video games. http://www.uspto.gov/trademarks-application-process/search-trademark-database

3. Games/sports and the rules that come with them are not copyright protectable. http://www.copyright.gov/fls/fl108.pdf

4. All likenesses for game characters were used with permission

5. If you're still worried about it- worst case scenario: I can easily rename the game Backyard Quid-ditch, or Backyard Quadriball and maintain everything else the same.

If you have any questions about the copyright issues, feel free to ask, I'm happy to explain any issues you might have. Constructive criticism is welcome!
