Your roommate's a serial killer, your RA's in love with you, and all your best friends are miles away. Is this really what college is like? Life in the Dorms
brings the spirit of classic point-and-click adventure games to the modern day. Join Dack Peeples—a kid who started feeling homesick before he even left home—as he tries to survive all the typical college orientation activities, like meeting your hallmates, going on scavenger hunts...fighting bears...performing unlicensed surgery on your friend's mom...and ultimately learning the true meaning of ramen noodles. (I mean friendship.)
It's a point-and-click adventure game, so you'll be presented with a series of challenges that you'll have to overcome by interacting with other characters, collecting objects from your environment, and using and combining them to progress the game's story. There are no sim elements to this game; it's pure story and adventure.
Top bullet points of the game include: Bears! Murder! …Icebreakers!
An engrossing coming-of-age tale about blah blah blah
Sharp dialogue and classic point-and-click puzzles!
A crossover with the hit corporate-simulator Office DisOrders
All new controls for the PC!
Is already a completed videogame [/list]
Life in the Dorms also introduces a brand-new, social networking-inspired interaction to the adventure game oeuvre: Dack can post "Flitter" updates about everything and everyone in the game—in fact, he'll have to, in order to solve many of the game's challenging puzzles.
